Radical King
Nick Drury
This week we consider the first of three particular values that are the foundation of our radical roots: Jesus at the centre. We look at how the Anabaptists resolved that Jesus and his Gospel needed to be at the heart of all that they were. We focus particularly on Jesus and his Kingdom, using passages such as the Sermon on the Mount to express the counter-cultural nature of this king’s realm, and how we can seek and experience Jesus' coming Kingdom today.

Spiritual But Not Religious
Jamie Fredricks
Many people report experiences that might be described as 'spiritual', 'transcendent' or 'divine'. However, religions and religious institutions with their rules, formulas and troubled histories are increasingly rejected as ways of navigating this spiritual realm. Hence, more people now describe themselves as 'spiritual but not religious'. Jamie looks more closely at this trend and considers how we can both challenge, and be challenged by some of the thinking found there.

Dinosaurs!
Jamie Fredricks
Some Christians find themselves being drawn into debates, discussions... and even arguments about their faith! In this message, Jamie suggests that 'how' we conduct ourselves is probably more important than 'what' we say. Also, he explores how some of our ideas may be more rooted in the culture and less rooted in the worldview of scripture. As an example, he looks at the thorny issue of Science vs The Bible.
